Product Development Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer II to join our team at MillenniumSoft. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Change to Win project portfolio, focusing on improving quality, reducing costs, and growing revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Contribute to the completion of project milestones, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Work under general supervision, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with internal company contacts, suppliers, and external partners to achieve project goals.
- Manage projects of moderate scope and complexity, designing, prototyping, building, and commercializing manufacturing process equipment.
- Develop high-volume production processes through process feasibility, optimization, and validation.
- Develop specifications and acceptance protocols to verify existing requirements.
- Manage vendors in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing equipment.
- Apply statistical techniques to analyze verification data.
- Develop test methods for performing verification, data analysis, process development, and validation.
- Provide input into project technical strategy.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design transfer is appropriate.
- Work with diverse functions and manufacturing sites to achieve project goals.
- Provide status reports to management in a timely manner.
- Follow design control policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in designing and developing components, mechanisms, systems, and finished products or equipment. They will demonstrate a working knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and its application in solving standard mechanical problems. Additionally, they will have a working understanding of internal and external customer or business needs, and be able to translate requirements into basic specifications and designs with moderate guidance. They will also have developed knowledge and skills in their job family, and be able to apply them to a variety of standard activities.
