Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DoD Operations Process Consultant to join our team at Technical Assent. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise in process analysis, research, and problem-solving to drive business outcomes for our clients.

As a consultant supporting our Federal government client, specifically the DoD, you will work as part of an innovative team to deliver high-quality solutions. Your tasks will include researching, preparing, and delivering on-time deliverables to clients, earning client trust through task completion and deliverable support, and understanding and writing functional requirements, mapping processes, developing briefings, and communicating effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage time independently to complete assigned tasks and contribute to team effort
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, statistics, information systems, or a related discipline, with 4+ years of relevant professional experience. You should also possess a curious, problem-solving approach to work, experience working with large data sets, MS Excel, and database tools like MS Access, SQL Server, or Oracle. Additionally, you should be able to explain data to laypeople, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD SECRET or Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience working with Defense procurement processes, data, or systems
  • Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools
  • Experience linking MS SharePoint with database and data visualization tools
  • Active DOD SECRET or Public Trust security clearance
Work Environment

You will be required to live in or around the Washington, DC metro area for on-site client meetings multiple times a week, with expected travel less than 25%.
