Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cocktail Server to join our team at Tao Group Hospitality. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage and food service to our guests. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional service to our guests
• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations for beverage and food items
• Inform guests of food and beverage specials, including prices
• Solicit allergy and dietary restrictions from each guest and accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Ensure the delivery of all food and beverage to our guests
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue
• Follow supervisor instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team player
• Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company
• Serve all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards
• Follow company procedures when providing bottle service and handle cash and payment card transactions accurately
• Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
• Accurately complete end-of-shift financial procedures
• Communicate the needs of our guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers, and chefs
• Properly set up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations, perform side-work, and complete opening and closing procedures as directed by management

Requirements:

• Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or nightclub environment
• Previous cocktail and/or floor server experience
• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods, as well as work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
