Position Overview
As a key member of the Best Buy Studio, the Asset Coordinator plays a vital role in the creation of engaging video and photographic marketing content. This position involves supporting producers and crew by managing their requirements for props, wardrobe, sets, and equipment throughout various productions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to navigate challenges with strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate coordination within the Asset departments: Props, Wardrobe, Sets, and Equipment.
  • Assist in the assembly and setup of production sets.
  • Utilize asset management systems to enter, track, and document the status of assets on a daily basis.
  • Communicate project needs effectively, collaborating with producers and crew to ensure all asset requirements are fulfilled.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
Essential Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a creative production setting or asset management.
  • Experience operating lift equipment.
  • Capability to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Mac operating systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to independently organize tasks and solve problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with File Maker Pro or similar asset management systems.
  • Knowledge of photo and video lighting and grip equipment.
  • Experience in database management.
  • Familiarity with Share Point.
