Job Summary

Catholic Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Call Center Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring a positive experience from initial contact to appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to general inquiries.
  • Utilize computer systems to access patient information, update records, and manage scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including add-ons, delays, cancellations, and no-shows.
  • Provide support to patients in distress, responding to emergencies and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient flow.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a medical receptionist/customer service role.
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone systems, computer software applications, and practice management technology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a positive tone and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with discretion and judgment when handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior call center experience in a medical office setting.
  • Experience with electronic scheduling systems and electronic medical records (EMR).

Work Environment:

This role is performed in a medical office setting, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods, use computer systems, and interact with patients and staff in a face-to-face manner.

Compensation:

The estimated base pay for this position ranges from $24.00 per hour, with additional benefits and incentives available to qualified candidates.
