Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Clean Earth. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in preserving the operational readiness of our facility, ensuring the health and safety of our employees, and promoting a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Perform Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular diagnostic assessments, perform repairs, and maintain all plant equipment, including conveyors, HVAC systems, and other related items.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Utilize electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical skills to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance of Pumps and Motors: Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of pumps and motors through regular maintenance and inspections.
  • Develop and Document Procedures: Create and maintain up-to-date procedures for preventive maintenance, document completed work orders, and perform other assignments as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in a maintenance-related field preferred.
  • Experience and Skills: At least 2+ years of experience in a maintenance-related field, with a strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical skills.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing approximately 40 pounds, and must pass a physical, drug test, and background check.

Our competitive salary starts at $22 per hour, based on experience.
