About the Role

MetaPhase Consulting is seeking an experienced Intelligence Research Specialist to support a dynamic mission for the US Marshals Service (USMS) Judicial Security Division (JSD). As a key member of our team, you will assist USMS management and staff in all office activities and operations, assessing threats, incidents, and inappropriate communications to protect federal judges, jurors, and other members of the federal judiciary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, consolidate, analyze, and evaluate mission-related intelligence reports and information.
  • Assess threats, incidents, and inappropriate communications to USMS protectees or facilities.
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine the degree of threat and provide recommendations on how to counter or eliminate the threat.
  • Evaluate, discuss, test, and validate intelligence research reports.
  • Prepare basic descriptive, current reportorial, and/or speculative intelligence reports.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, make recommendations on controversial matters.
  • Plan and conduct research projects and brief agency personnel on the purpose and progress of projects.
  • Conduct other research and liaison functions with junior intelligence professionals as directed.
  • Establish, develop, and/or recommend methodologies, guides, new concepts, policies, and procedures for controversies, problems, or problem situations as needed.
  • Prepare and conduct briefings and presentations as required for various audiences.
Requirements
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in intelligence or a similar field in a similar position.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal employees as well as outside sources.
  • Ability to take direction well, strong attention to detail, and exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
