As a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, providing essential therapeutic services under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist.

Your role will encompass various locations, contributing to our innovative Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living facilities.

To be eligible for this position, you must possess an active or pending Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) state license.

Qualifications:

Position Summary:


As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the physical therapist, ensuring adherence to professional standards and ethical practices.

Your contributions will support program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a collaborative environment.


Essential Duties:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions as instructed by the physical therapist across various settings.
  • Assess patient responses to treatment and provide insights to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including progress and ongoing treatment needs.
  • Work alongside the physical therapist to innovate educational approaches for patients and their families.
  • Assist in training team members on physical therapy practices as required.
  • Contribute to the provision of cost-effective care.
  • Report any resident concerns to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Travel to different locations as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Uphold resident rights in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain professional competencies relevant to job duties.
  • Participate in preparation for regulatory surveys.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Associate Degree in a relevant field

Licenses and Certifications:
Must possess a valid and unencumbered state license.
Current CPR Certification for healthcare providers is preferred.

Physical Demands:
The role requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, residents, and visitors is essential.
