Job Overview:

The Courtyard by Marriott Waterbury Downtown, managed by Moody National Management LP, is seeking enthusiastic Bistro Servers to enhance our guest experience.

Your Role:

As a Bistro Server, you are the first point of contact for our guests in the morning. You understand the importance of starting the day on a positive note and strive to create meaningful connections with each guest. Your ability to engage with guests will ensure they feel valued and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently take and process food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Engage with guests professionally, addressing inquiries about menu items and specials.
  3. Prepare and serve beverages and desserts, maintaining high standards of presentation.
  4. Verify the quality and presentation of food before serving.
  5. Handle guest checks and payments with precision, addressing any related questions.
  6. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and assist with table bussing as needed.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess a solid understanding of hospitality standards and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or equivalent experience is preferred, along with a minimum of one year in food service.

Work Environment:

This position operates within a hotel restaurant setting, involving the use of standard kitchen equipment and exposure to various food and beverage temperatures.
