Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently take and place food orders with the kitchen.
  • Engage professionally with guests throughout their dining experience.
  • Address inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and preparation methods.
  • Prepare and serve beverages and desserts promptly.
  • Ensure food presentation meets quality standards before serving.
  • Process guest checks accurately and handle payments in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and assist with table bussing as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 1+ years in food service.
  • Ability to obtain necessary food handling and alcohol serving certifications.
  • Strong command of the English language; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a restaurant setting within a hotel, involving the use of standard kitchen equipment and exposure to hot food and cleaning chemicals. Flexibility in workdays is required.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Preferred: Alcohol Serving Certification
  • Food Handler Certificate
