Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently take and place food orders with the kitchen.
- Engage professionally with guests throughout their dining experience.
- Address inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and preparation methods.
- Prepare and serve beverages and desserts promptly.
- Ensure food presentation meets quality standards before serving.
- Process guest checks accurately and handle payments in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and assist with table bussing as needed.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 1+ years in food service.
- Ability to obtain necessary food handling and alcohol serving certifications.
- Strong command of the English language; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a restaurant setting within a hotel, involving the use of standard kitchen equipment and exposure to hot food and cleaning chemicals. Flexibility in workdays is required.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Preferred: Alcohol Serving Certification
- Food Handler Certificate
