Job Title: BIM Manager

At MN International Enterprises LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to join our team. As a BIM Manager, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of Revit in our Studio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement BIM standards and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency in our design process.
  • Manage and lead our internal drafting and BIM team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Create and adjust templates, families, schedules, and other BIM-related assets to support our design and construction processes.
  • Regularly update and maintain BIM-related manuals to ensure our team has access to the latest information and best practices.
  • Support our team with day-to-day BIM inquiries and ensure adherence to our established procedures.
  • Actively work on projects, modeling and detailing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist in the management of BIM for multi-story building projects, ensuring seamless coordination and communication with our clients and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with in-house design engineers and clients (Architects) to understand the design flow process and efficiently apply BIM in design.
  • Coordinate the delivery of BIM-related design and construction document information with Architects and MEP Engineers.
  • Manage site-based BIM tools, including BIM360, to ensure efficient data management and collaboration.
  • Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards, ensuring our deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to employees to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Organize and lead internal company-wide BIM meetings and provide progress updates to the team.
  • Liaise with software vendors as needed to ensure our BIM tools and software are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Conduct routine audits of project files for corruption detection and file size management.
  • Conduct reviews of template databases to correct and update for redundancy and proper implementation.
  • Attend strategic meetings with external clients to ensure a BIM execution plan is agreed to and followed, and provide feedback as needed.
  • Assist with CAD output management, layering, and file structuring for basic CAD management duties.
  • Coordinate needed hardware upgrades with our IT department.
  • Troubleshoot problems and provide solutions to ensure our team can work efficiently and effectively.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Must have 5+ years of experience as an in-house BIM Specialist.
  • Must have previous experience working and implementing BIM in an engineering firm.
  • Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of the basics of construction drawings for building structures.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to effectively work with colleagues in a small business setting.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with organizational capabilities.
  • Complex and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, manage competing initiatives, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to develop working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Personality conducive to a collaborative environment.
