Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at CNY Centro. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will be responsible for managing the front desk and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the front desk and greet visitors upon arrival
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including answering phones, taking messages, and redirecting calls
- Provide basic and accurate information to customers in-person and via phone/email
- Process online and in-person customer fare media orders
- Issue parking permits and log sales
- Maintain a log of lost and found items and contact owners as needed
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Process outgoing mail orders and UPS/FedEx packages
- Enter customer service department purchase requisitions
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area/mailroom
- Send out requested customer response letters
- Process requests for Senior/Disabled IDs, employment applications, Call-A-Bus applications, schedules, etc.
- Enter customer complaints and commendations into the database
- Pleasant personality and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
