Job Overview:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Production Assembler. The role involves assembling components to finalize our Bridge Pavers utilizing both hand and power tools. You will also provide support to various departments as needed, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain regular attendance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble parts from both factory and vendors to complete machinery.
  • Execute additional related tasks as assigned that align with the overall objectives of this role.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in shop mathematics is essential. A technical school background is preferred. A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience is necessary, ideally in an assembly capacity within a heavy equipment setting. A hands-on mechanical aptitude, along with familiarity with tools and equipment operation, is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Competence in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong proficiency in mathematics, reading, and writing.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Capability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires the ability to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
