About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Valor Healthcare, Inc. as a key member of our Behavioral Health Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with patients to assess and address their mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work from a program registered by the Department of Education.
  • Valid, unrestricted LCSW license in the state of desired employment or in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' post-master direct counseling experience with adult patients.
  • Proven mastery of advanced sociological, psychological, and mental health care related interventions and issues.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support and ACLS as specified by individual VAMC contract.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong computer skills, including EMR experience.
