About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Communitas, Inc. in Beverly, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the physical condition and safety of our Beverly Day Program facilities
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and repairs
  • Assist with moving furniture, replacing light bulbs, and cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and office areas
  • Perform light plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains and toilets, and repairing leaky faucets
  • Paint and perform other related duties as assigned
  • Attend agency trainings as required
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge and experience of maintenance procedures
  • Passion and dedication to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Must pass company background and reference checks
