About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at WestRock. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated machinery and robotics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated machinery and robotics to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to equipment operation, using your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established quality standards and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to identify and implement process improvements, and to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in maintenance and repair, and share your knowledge with the team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in the corrugated and print industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, robotics, and automation equipment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
