Event Services Technician

Pinnacle Live is a premium, in-house AV partner that elevates live event expectations for people and venues who demand better. We're looking for dedicated, determined individuals to join our team as Event Services Technicians.

Job Summary:

The Event Services Technician is responsible for assisting with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment. This role requires delivering unmatched customer service to our guests and clients.

Essential Functions:
  • Event Setup and Strike: Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
  • Client Support: Greet guests/clients before events and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
  • Communication: Provide continued communication with clients to ensure the success of all events.
  • Client Requests: Follows through on all client requests.
  • Event Enhancement: Look for opportunities to enhance client's event.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate client event information within the Company's business systems.
  • Financial Management: Review daily invoices with clients and obtain client's signature on invoice(s).
  • Security and Safety: Comply with all Company security and safety measures and is constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition.
  • Reporting: Ensure any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment is immediately reported to management.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Make sure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to Company standards.
  • Professional Development: Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging, and computer operation and networking.
  • Company Policies: Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior exposure to audio-visual and/or hospitality industry.
  • Computer Skills: Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking).
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong technical aptitude.
  • Computer Knowledge: Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Planning and Organization: Planning ability; able to plan and prioritize.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player orientation.
  • Customer Service: Commitment to best-in-class customer service for internal and external stakeholders.
