The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a highly skilled Information & Knowledge Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Directorate of Navy Governance, you will play a critical role in managing the digital information supporting the Navy Library on the Defence Secret Network (DSN).
Key Responsibilities- Manage the delivery and upkeep of the DSN Navy Library digital information, ensuring configuration, harmonisation, and accuracy of content.
- Ensure the Navy's digital information within the N Library DSN platform is accessible to authorised personnel, configuration controlled, and compliant with legislative frameworks and government decision-making requirements.
- Provide specialist advice to stakeholders on the N Library life cycle of information and records management activities.
- Collaborate with the Staff Officer (SO1) to provide knowledge management expertise for the future development of the DSN N Library, including the upgrade of the SharePoint platform.
You will be part of a dynamic team embedded in a fast-paced environment, supporting Navy Outcome 5. Our team consists of a blended workforce of ADF and APS personnel, engaging with various stakeholders within Navy and Defence to achieve best practice for the implementation and maintenance of Navy's key governance mechanisms.
