The Clinical Assistant position focuses on the assessment and management of pediatric patients, particularly those diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, under the guidance of a supervising physician. This role encompasses both Telemedicine and in-person consultations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Assistant, your essential duties will include:
- Greeting patients and addressing inquiries from parents in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient interactions in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Overseeing the activities of Medical Assistants and other support personnel.
- Ensuring compliance with established office protocols and assisting others in understanding these procedures.
- Completing end-of-day operational tasks.
Further responsibilities may involve:
- Participating in regular team meetings.
- Engaging in cross-training to meet the evolving needs of the practice.
- Performing other assigned tasks as necessary.
Preferred qualifications for this role include:
- Required certification.
- A minimum of one year of relevant medical experience.
- Experience in customer service is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to interpret various forms of instructions, whether written, oral, or visual.
