Responsibilities:
  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates, requiring an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination.
  • Develop professional specialization and apply diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments.
  • Lead projects, perform work requiring advanced techniques, and make decisions independently on problems and methods.
  • Represent the firm in conferences and meetings.
  • Engage in engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction, and delivery phases for commercial site development.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of a major project of moderate scope.
  • Have broad knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas and good knowledge of principles and practices in related specialties.
  • Develop work plans, including revision, acceleration, or deceleration of a project.
  • Select procedures and check complete reports and calculations.
  • Familiar with QA/QC procedures and understand basic business practices and laws related to the area of practice.
  • Build and maintain relationships between project teams and collaborate to ensure that technical, quality, cost, and client requirements are implemented.
  • Coordinate with outside sub-consultants.
  • Prepare a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with project and task team leaders.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • Handle multiple simultaneous projects and work in a multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or Engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and ±8 years of experience.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
