Position Overview

As an Associate Government Program Analyst, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Administering various contracts, work orders, and related documents essential for site assessments and remediation projects.
  • Evaluating contractor invoices to verify adherence to contract stipulations.
  • Acting as a liaison between departmental staff and the Contracts/Business Management Unit to facilitate financial oversight of budget proposals and funding sources.
  • Conducting research and providing analytical support to management and staff, ensuring they have access to accurate and comprehensible information necessary for achieving DTSC's objectives.
  • Completing various tasks as assigned by management, including preparing visual data representations and summarizing findings in reports or memos.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in reviewing contractor invoices for compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Preferred skills in record keeping.

Additional Information:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a valid California Driver's License. A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required for evaluation, and applications lacking an SOQ may be disqualified. The SOQ should not exceed two pages, be well-organized, and free of more than five grammatical or spelling errors.
