Radiology Technologist Part-Time Days

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Troy, Michigan. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verification of patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire an accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Perform radiographic and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods for patient's physical ability and/or limitations.
- Ensure STAT requests are relayed to radiologist in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicate on an inter/intra-department level with customer service, administrative, medical staff, and peers.
- Demonstrate ability to proficiently operate diagnostic imaging equipment and follow policy for any malfunctions or quality control failures.
- Utilize ALARA standards for minimizing radiation exposure to patient, staff, and self.
- Provides procedural information/education to the patient/family prior to each exam.
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- Training gained at student level.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required.
