Radiology Technologist Full Time Evenings

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and follow policy for malfunctions or quality control failures.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Contribute to the effective operations of the department.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and simple manipulative skills. The employee may be exposed to ionizing radiation and hazardous materials.
