Pathology Opportunity in New Jersey

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at a prominent Medical Center is actively seeking a qualified Pathologist to enhance its Practice, focusing on both anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP).

This Medical Center is affiliated with a renowned University Health System, providing an excellent environment for medical education, including student rotations and residency programs in internal medicine and surgery.


Key Responsibilities:

The selected pathologist will be tasked with the routine evaluation of pathology cases, which encompasses:

  • General surgical pathology
  • Frozen section analysis
  • Non-gyn cytopathology
  • Bone marrow examinations in collaboration with a certified hematopathologist

Additionally, the pathologist will engage with the general clinical laboratory, contributing to a comprehensive healthcare service.


Qualifications:

Applicants must possess board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology or its Canadian equivalent. A solid background in general surgical pathology is essential, along with clinical pathology consultative skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hematopathology.
