The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at a prominent Medical Center is in search of a qualified Pathologist to enhance their Practice, focusing on both anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP).

This Medical Center is affiliated with a renowned University Health System, providing a rich environment for medical education and training, including rotations for medical students and residency programs in internal medicine and surgery.


Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for the routine evaluation of pathology cases, which encompasses:

  • General surgical pathology
  • Frozen section analysis
  • Non-gyn cytopathology
  • Bone marrow examinations (in collaboration with a certified hematopathologist)

Additionally, the pathologist will participate in the operations of the general clinical laboratory.


Qualifications:

Applicants must possess board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology (or its Canadian equivalent). A solid background in general surgical pathology is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate clinical pathology consultative skills, with preference given to those with experience in hematopathology.
