About the Role

The State of North Carolina is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in providing technical pharmacy services. This role involves processing, preparing, and filling medication orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and prepare medication orders in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist pharmacists in providing technical pharmacy services.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication orders and dispensing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of an accredited nine-month Pharmacy Technician program.
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development diploma and one year of pharmacy-related experience.
  • Working knowledge of medications and experience in communicating with other healthcare professionals.
