Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in providing technical pharmacy services by processing, preparing, and filling medication orders. This role is designated mandatory during Adverse Weather or Emergency conditions.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the pharmacist in processing, preparing, and filling medication orders
• Maintain accurate records of medication orders and inventory
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery
• Participate in pre-employment drug testing and criminal record background checks

Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nine-month Pharmacy Technician program; or High school diploma or General Educational Development diploma and one year of pharmacy-related experience; Some positions may require certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• Computer skills and experience in working as a pharmacy technician
