**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Safran Seats. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing product requirements, specifications, and compliance throughout the product development cycle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage engineering projects, ensuring requirements are fully documented and traceable.
  • Capture and validate all stakeholders' requirements, both internal and external.
  • Review requirements with subject matter experts and assigned engineering team.
  • Work closely with the assigned engineering project team to ensure validation and verification activities are completed on time.
  • Develop the product verification strategy and ensure agreement with all stakeholders.
  • Provide status reports for requirements capture, compliance status, validation, and verification.
  • Create and maintain product specification documents for internal and customer approval.
  • Liaise with engineering project team to maintain baseline product configuration and document requirements changes in the event of scope changes.
  • Identify system interfaces and create applicable interface control documents.
  • Support the engineering change process and engineering proposals in response to change requests received during the execution of engineering projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Material Science, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience in an engineering-related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including the ability to translate product requirements into product specifications and compliance matrices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a geographically disperse team and multicultural team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Requirements Validation, and Verification.
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) knowledge.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and DOORS, CAMEO, SIMULINK, or similar requirements management and system modeling tools experience.
