Vermont Mutual Insurance is a leading insurance provider, and we are seeking an experienced Strategic Product Manager to oversee the Agile delivery of functional products to our end-users.

Job Summary

We offer a highly competitive salary in the range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the product vision and development of the team backlog, ensuring alignment with business strategy and user/customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and end-to-end launch of products.
  • Work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Partner with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, business or other relevant discipline, plus 3 or more years of industry, IT or software project management, and supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of products, operating processes, the industry, and systems in all areas of the business.
  • Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen, with strong leadership and management skills.
