Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant for Protect Environmental is a key role in ensuring operational efficiency by providing administrative support in various functions in business operations. This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the business operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the business operations team, including scheduling, calendar management, and data entry.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of company events, including meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Perform a variety of secretarial duties, including typing, mailing, faxing, and photocopying correspondence and materials.
  • Establish and maintain a wide variety of documents, manuals, and materials, including databases and spreadsheets.
  • Assist in responding to inquiries from contractors and subcontractors, and redirecting to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Assist with making and reviewing employee travel arrangements, expense claims, receipts, and company correspondence.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with short turnaround times and capable of shifting priorities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multitask, with strong organizational skills.
  • General administrative skills, including scheduling, calendar management, public records management, database management, and the planning and preparation of meetings, speaking engagements, and trips.
Work Environment

This job operates primarily in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are required. Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds.
