Transforming Open Source IT and DevOps

We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to lead our regional team in shaping the future of open source IT, DevOps, and IS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for distributed systems, cloud computing, and the Linux stack.

This role involves designing and delivering open source software operations code using Python and Golang. You will work closely with the Solutions Engineering team to improve our infra-as-code products based on real-world experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering high-quality open source software operations code
  • Working with the entire Linux stack, from kernel to networking to virtualization and containers
  • Shaping open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure
  • Rethinking open source operations for our customers and community
  • Demonstrating sound engineering design and testing principles
  • Following agile software development practices
  • Cultivating a healthy, collaborative engineering culture

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Passionate knowledge of Python and Golang programming languages
  • Experience working with the Linux stack, including kernel, networking, storage, and applications
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and networking
  • A lifelong learner mindset

Having a university degree in Computer Science or related field and Golang programming skills are highly desirable.
