Opportunity:

We are in search of a Client Relationship Coordinator who possesses experience in investment account operations and thrives in a collaborative team environment within a regional firm. As a vital member of the Investment Team, the Client Relationship Coordinator will oversee investment operations, which encompass administration and client service, working closely with colleagues in similar roles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, proven customer service capabilities, and a history of effectively prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work setting. Integrity, a process-oriented mindset, and a sense of ownership over responsibilities are essential for this position. This role provides an opportunity for professional growth and skill development within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **New Business Administration & Client Account Operations** – Manage the setup and maintenance of new client investment accounts; compile and complete necessary paperwork for clients, custodians, investment managers, and internal processes; execute tasks related to asset transfers and alternative investments.

2. **Client Data Management** – Ensure that systems, including CRM, are consistently updated with accurate client information.

3. **Client Service** – Engage with clients to deliver proactive and responsive service, addressing needs such as distributions, personal information updates, and portfolio adjustments.

4. **Advisor Support** – Implement directed initiatives and projects as required.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in client service or investment operations within the financial services sector, with a solid understanding of investment products
  • Series 7 license is preferred
  • Experience with alternative investments and subscription documentation is advantageous
  • Familiarity with custodial platforms (e.g., Pershing, Fidelity, Schwab) is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, seeking guidance from management when necessary
  • Meticulous attention to detail is a must
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, superior customer service skills, strong initiative, critical thinking, flexibility, accountability, and outstanding oral and written communication skills are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
