HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aircraft Quality Inspector to join our team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by conducting thorough inspections and maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Meticulously inspect aircraft structures, components, and systems to identify any defects or discrepancies.
  • Approve or reject final work to guarantee that all maintenance and repair activities adhere to specified requirements.
  • Inspect incoming parts and materials to ensure they meet airworthiness standards. Conduct RII inspections as authorized.
  • Perform aircraft airworthiness releases as authorized, preparing and signing customer orders/maintenance releases for the Repair Station.
  • Conduct comprehensive walk-around inspections of aircraft prior to maintenance release.
  • Execute the return-to-service process, ensuring that assigned aircraft meet all airworthiness requirements before returning to service.
  • Provide customers with requested data and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs according to FAA, customer, and company regulations.
  • Adhere to established work rules and company policies relevant to your job functions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience performing aircraft inspections under FAR 145, 121, 135 or Military experience on commercial/military aircraft.
  • At least 1 year of Inspector experience is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of aircraft part fabrication processes, specialized tooling, and machinery used in detailed inspection.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently according to Title 14 CFR Part 65.
  • Proficiency in calculating tolerances using calibrated measuring devices.
  • Skill in reading and interpreting engineering documents.
  • Competence in utilizing various precision measurement instruments and specialized tooling.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Standard Aviation Tool Kit is essential.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
