Position Overview:
The A&P Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft by conducting maintenance and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations and client quality standards. This position requires a proactive approach to organizing work efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
As a skilled A&P Mechanic, your duties will include:
  • Executing routine maintenance tasks such as the removal and installation of aircraft and powerplant components, which involve bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring.
  • Diagnosing, repairing, cleaning, servicing, inspecting, modifying, replacing, and overhauling aircraft and systems to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards.
  • Adhering to all relevant specifications to complete assigned tasks effectively.
  • Upholding a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Completing work within designated timeframes.
  • Following all safety protocols and specifications diligently.
  • Managing all necessary documentation related to assigned duties.
  • Operating ground support equipment safely, as qualified.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision and achieving assignments with little to no rework.
  • Providing assistance to colleagues through coaching and guidance.
  • Collaborating effectively with management, other departments, and team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
  • Must possess personal tools as specified in the company tool list.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Exposure to noise levels exceeding acceptable limits.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods, as well as climb ladders and service stands.
  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials, necessitating the use of safety equipment.
  • Capability to breathe through a full-face respirator.
  • Participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program is required.
  • Normal or corrected hearing is essential.
  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Minimum visual acuity requirements must be met.
