As a Production Supervisor at Adient, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of production team members and ensuring compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production team members and direct daily activities
  • Ensure compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, and production standards
  • Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products
  • Review production and operating reports to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop or revise standard operational and working practices
  • Establish and maintain good safety and housekeeping practices
  • Provide counseling, coaching, and training for team members
  • Adhere to and promote all HS & E policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing
  • Experienced in JIT automotive sequencing (preferred)
  • Formal problem-solving skills and Microsoft applications skills
  • Ability to work 3rd shift schedule
