Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Specialist to join our team at Mental Health Partners. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct services to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client screenings, including client histories and case notes
  • Assist with client education and support
  • Provide support in the management of the milieu and work environment
  • Evaluate crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions and support
  • Work collaboratively with clients and other staff to coordinate care
Requirements
  • BA degree in a behavioral health field or related field
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • QMAP certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Registration in the State of Colorado DORA database as an approved addictions counselor or mental health licensure
