Substance Abuse Specialist

Mental Health Partners is seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide direct services to individuals struggling with addiction, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as case management and support services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g. counseling, social work, psychology) or equivalent experience
- Current licensure or certification in a relevant field (e.g. LPC, LMFT, LAC)
- Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
