Job Title: Director of Child Psychiatry Fellowship

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Child Psychiatry Fellowship to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Center, you will be responsible for leading our Child Psychiatry Fellowship program and providing exceptional care to our patients.

About the Role:
  • Lead the Child Psychiatry Fellowship program and ensure its success in providing high-quality education and training to our fellows.
  • Collaborate with our Chair and Chief to define and obtain the necessary educational resources to conduct the program.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the educational goals and objectives of the program.
  • Supervise fellows and teaching faculty to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies for fellow appointment and reappointment, promotion, disciplinary actions, and dismissal.
  • Monitor fellow workloads and fatigue, and provide support and resources to prevent burnout.
Requirements:
  • Must have completed a Child Psychiatry Fellowship and be board-certified in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry.
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Two to three years of experience in an academic setting.
  • License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
