Senior Claims Specialist

Compensation Package$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job SummaryThis is a fantastic opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working in collaborative environments. As a key member of the billing team, you'll review and submit claims daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You'll also work closely with management, develop your skills in claims management, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Review and submit claims daily using the claims management system, ensuring timely electronic submissions.
- Correct claim edits and rejections to comply with federal, state, and commercial payer regulations.
- Monitor claim rejections for trends, particularly with assigned payers, and report insights to management.
- Adhere to company guidelines, including patient privacy and employee safety initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- A high school diploma is required.
- Experience with DocuTap and/or Experity is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in accounting, medical billing, or a related field is a plus.
- You enjoy working in a collaborative, team-based setting.
- You can manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain high accuracy.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and practice management applications is essential.
