Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team in Cottage Grove, MN. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with students in a behavior-focused classroom setting, providing essential support to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Classroom Support: Provide behavior support in a classroom setting, assisting students with managing and improving their behavior.
  • Student Focus: Work primarily with students in grades K-4, with the potential to support middle school students based on needs.
  • Behavioral Interventions: Implement and monitor behavioral intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or similar professional.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support the behavioral and educational development of students.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Behavior Technician or similar role working with students with behavioral needs is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong ability to implement behavior intervention plans, manage classroom behavior, and communicate effectively with students and staff.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications or training in behavior analysis or related fields are a plus.

Additional Information

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Through the end of the school year (EOSY).
  • Potential Needs: Primarily K-4 students, with the possibility of middle school support depending on classroom needs.
