Feminist organization, a leading advocate for women's rights in politics, is seeking a Social Media Video Producer to join our Digital Media team.

The Digital Media Department is dedicated to engaging and expanding the Feminist community while providing online resources for our candidates.

This department collaborates closely with the Campaigns, Training, Development, and Communications teams to ensure our online initiatives support the organization's fundraising, messaging, and electoral goals.

The Social Media Video Producer is a vital member of this team.

This individual will conceptualize, produce, and disseminate captivating vertical video content aimed at fostering engagement and dialogue across platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This role will lead our vertical video production efforts and will have the chance to innovate the digital content that resonates with younger and diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and create vertical video content for Snapchat, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts to connect with younger and diverse demographics;
  • Oversee vertical video production from concept to post-launch, delivering shareable and engaging experiences;
  • Analyze data and performance metrics related to vertical video content weekly, leading strategy adjustments as necessary;
  • Collaborate across the Digital Media team and other departments to produce timely and relevant content;
  • Travel to capture content at organizational events, as required;
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Experience in social media content creation for an organization, brand, political campaign, or agency.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok/Reels style editing and curation.
  • Proficient in content editing and creation using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
  • High level of social media proficiency – active across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Deep awareness of social media trends, memes, pop culture, and viral content.
  • Proven ability to identify trends on social media and quickly pitch, shoot, and edit creative ideas based on those trends.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and ever-evolving environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail.


Must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of our candidates, membership, partners, and staff, along with a passion for electing pro-choice Democratic women.

This position operates on a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence for a minimum of three days per week.
