We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a Physical Therapist in a school setting, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by providing physical therapy services to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver physical therapy services to students within a school setting, assessing and evaluating their physical abilities and limitations.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to students' needs and goals, collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to incorporate therapy goals into the students' educational plans.
- Conduct therapy sessions using various techniques and modalities to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and coordination, monitoring and documenting students' progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate school staff and parents on strategies to support students' physical development and independence, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate care.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in pediatric physical therapy, adhering to professional and ethical standards as per state regulations and school policies.
- A Master's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with prior experience in school or pediatric settings being essential.
- Must hold PT licenses and teaching certifications for the state of Maine, with proven proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality physical therapy services to students.
- W-2 Employment Contract
- $50-60/hr
- Full-time employees eligible for ProCare's benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and weekly pay via paper check or direct deposit.
