About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (tenure-track or tenured) in the Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University. The successful candidate will establish or maintain an extramurally funded research program, teach graduate courses in immunology, and serve as the director of a core flow cytometer and cell sorting laboratory.

Requirements
  • Possess a Ph.D. in immunology or a related discipline
  • Demonstrate potential for teaching excellence at the graduate and professional levels in immunology
  • Demonstrate potential to acquire extramural funding or have an active research program
Preferred Qualifications
  • Particularly interested in individuals with demonstrated experience in working across disciplines and collaborating broadly
  • Highest consideration will be given to candidates who also possess a strong background in cellular and molecular biology with investigations that are potentially synergistic with current College of Veterinary Medicine faculty interests in infectious diseases, vaccinology, inflammation, toxicology, cancer, public health, and food safety
