Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the building and grounds by performing janitorial and maintenance duties, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, light carpentry, and painting.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks as scheduled, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Assist in managing vendors and purchasing supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for maintenance tasks.
  • Work closely with the Building Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors.
  • Perform light HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, including drywall repair and painting.
  • Record keeping of tasks and preventive maintenance, ensuring that all maintenance activities are properly documented.
  • Upkeep of landscaping and snow removal, ensuring that the campus grounds are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Coordinate with contractors working on property, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assemble and move office furniture and other office materials, as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating with vendors/subcontractors as necessary, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must have earned a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • General maintenance skills, mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and keep records.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Flexibility to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
