Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Risk, Forensics to join our Ankura Risk, Forensics & Compliance practice. This role will focus on supporting our National Security, Trade & Technology team, working on projects involving international trade and technology security controls, Defense Industrial Base (DIB) -related cybersecurity, and other national security-related compliance and program enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project execution, working independently and with team members to deliver high-quality results.
  • Conduct assessments of clients' cyber and data security posture, including compliance with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST, CMMC, and other information security standards.
  • Develop and refine engagement approaches and project plans based on guidance from team leadership and experience.
  • Interface with clients, delivering high-quality work product, including Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) and System Security Plans (SSP).
  • Build industry-recognized subject matter expertise in national security and DIB cybersecurity domains, staying up-to-date with developments in cyber frameworks and compliance.
  • Help clients navigate Government Security, international trade and technology control, and data security requirements.
  • Up to 20% travel required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, with a focus on information/cyber security, network security, and/or international trade controls strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working as a compliance professional and/or Information Security professional and program leader in a company, professional services firm, or Government.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cyber compliance assessments.
  • Preferably, experience/expertise with trade control requirements and compliance program support.
  • Excellent research and writing capabilities required.

Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $85,000 to $200,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
