Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Telecom Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting phone and data networks. This role requires collaboration with team members to develop and deploy distributed network architectures, create network diagrams, recommend hardware and software solutions, and implement network monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deploy new distributed networks and modernize existing networks
- Collaborate with team members to develop and deploy network architectures
- Recommend hardware and software solutions for network infrastructure
- Implement network monitoring and troubleshooting
- Develop and present well-written reports
- Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field of study; plus 5 years of related work experience
- Two years of experience in telco infrastructure, GSM, GPRS, and TDMA
- Experience conducting system integration of mission systems for field deployment and testing
- Experience creating, maintaining, and updating network documentation, diagrams, and security documentation
- Competency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field of study
- Communications Security (COMSEC)
- Information Security (INFOSEC)
- RF, including cellular and Wi-Fi
Nightwing offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for growth and development. We provide a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $179,000, as well as benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
