About the Role:

Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated Telecom Network Engineer to install, configure, and troubleshoot phone and data networks. The engineer will collaborate with team members to develop and deploy distributed network architectures, create network diagrams, recommend hardware and software solutions, and implement network monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and deployment of new distributed networks and modernization of existing networks.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and deploy distributed network architectures.
  • Recommend hardware and software solutions for network infrastructure.
  • Implement network monitoring and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field of study; plus 5 years of related work experience.
  • Two years of experience in telco infrastructure, GSM, GPRS, and TDMA.
  • Experience conducting system integration of mission systems for field deployment and testing.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and updating network documentation, diagrams, and security documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field of study.
  • Communications Security (COMSEC).
  • Information Security (INFOSEC).
  • RF, including cellular and Wi-Fi.
