We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Exchange Engineer with extensive experience in managing and optimizing Exchange environments. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Expertise in administering and supporting Microsoft Exchange 2016 and 2019 platforms.
- Ability to provide advanced Tier 3 support for Exchange-related challenges and effectively troubleshoot intricate issues.
- Experience in executing server migrations, upgrades, and applying necessary patches.
- Capability to design and enhance Exchange architecture for improved performance.
- Management of mailboxes, public folders, and various Exchange resources.
- Configuration and optimization of anti-spam and anti-virus protocols.
- Monitoring of Exchange server performance with a focus on implementing enhancements.
- Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for Exchange processes and configurations.
- Collaboration with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration with diverse systems.
- Implementation and management of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Exchange.
- Management of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of Windows Domain Infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, and DHCP.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Exchange databases, antivirus applications, messaging filtering, and error log analysis.
- Experience in resolving complex enterprise-level issues and outages.
- Migration of environments to the latest versions of Windows Server (2016/2019) and Exchange (2016/latest products).
- Advanced knowledge of Exchange Server 2016 administration, including mail flow/SMTP, monitoring, reporting, and integration with various technologies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in managing enterprise-level Exchange environments.
- Significant engineering experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016 and 2019.
- Strong understanding of core Exchange technologies and associated Microsoft products.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for Exchange management and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and its integration with Exchange systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant Microsoft certifications related to Exchange (e.g., MCSE: Messaging).
- Experience with hybrid Exchange/Office 365 environments.
- Expertise in DNS, Windows Server 2012, R2, 2016, 2019, and Azure.
- Good understanding of Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Knowledge of load balancing and high availability configurations for Exchange.
- Familiarity with email security best practices and compliance standards.
