Job Title: School Health Specialist

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

We are seeking a skilled School Health Specialist to join our team at Shiprock Associated Schools. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our students.

**Job Summary:**

The School Health Specialist will work closely with teachers, parents, and community members to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illnesses. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Comply with and support all Shiprock Associated Schools' policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and current student health records.
  • Respond to medical emergencies as required.
  • Coordinate routine student exams.

**Requirements:**

  • Current Nurse License (RN) or ability to acquire NM PED School Nurse License.
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing is preferred.
  • Associates in nursing or a related field are required.
