Mental Health Specialist

In this rewarding role as a Mental Health Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents facing emotional, mental, and substance abuse challenges.
Job SummaryThis position involves providing specialized services to students who require modified educational environments due to behavioral or emotional difficulties. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will work collaboratively with educators and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, promoting academic success and personal growth.
We anticipate an annual salary range of $62,000-$85,000 for this position, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering individual/group therapy sessions, tracking progress toward established objectives
- Consulting with school staff to discuss consumer progress and suggest improvements
- Evaluating consumer progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Attending weekly staff meetings to contribute therapeutic expertise and insights
- Prioritizing regular supervision with the Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor
- Adapting interventions to meet changing consumer needs
